Compare Text Online

Paste two versions of any text to see exactly what changed. DiffNow shows both side by side and highlights changed lines, words, and characters. For code, it detects the language and highlights the syntax.

How to use it

  1. Paste the original text into the left box and the changed text into the right box.
  2. Click Compare. Changed, added, and deleted lines are shown side by side in color.
  3. Use Options to ignore white space, case, or blank lines, and Share to send a link to the comparison.

Questions

Is my text stored?

No. Pasted text and uploaded files are deleted during the comparison, and comparison results are deleted at the end of your browsing session. Reports you save yourself are visible only to you, and you can delete them at any time.

Can I compare files instead of pasted text?

Yes. Use the Files tab to upload two files, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF documents.

Is there a desktop version?
